NATICK, Mass. (SEPTEMBER 29, 2022) – AffyImmune Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical stage biotechnology company using its Tune & Track platform to develop CAR T cells for the treatment of solid cancers, announced today that serial biotech entrepreneur Robert Forrester has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Forrester’s biotech experience spans more than two decades as a chief financial officer, chief operating officer, chief executive officer, and board member. He brings decades of corporate leadership experience and a track record of scaling startups from early stage to their growth phase.

Mr. Forrester is a co-founder of EQRx. He is also a co-founder and serves on the board of IDRx, Brixton Biosciences and EyeCool Therapeutics. He also serves on the boards of Pillar Biosciences and Deciduous Therapeutics. He holds law degrees from the University of Bristol and University of Law Guildford in the United Kingdom.
